Champions Parents, Players and Volunteers

Champions Parents, Players and Volunteers

A message from Champions League Player Agent, David Campa:

Walnut Pony Baseball is proud to host the first year of our Champions League for kids with special needs. We are excited for the baseball season to begin. Our first event will be Opening Day, Saturday February 14th at 9am.   Opening ceremonies begins with all the teams walking on the field. Our Champions will take part in this. After a few opening remarks and the singing of the national anthem, the Champions league players will be acknowledged.   Immediately after we will be dismissed to begin our practice/game on the adjacent field.  We ask that you be at the field at 8:15am so I could pass out our hats and shirts.

Volunteers are crucial to the success of our Champions league and we encourage everyone to join and support our teams. We will be using the buddy program with players of various ages to assist and volunteer during games. We will try to form two teams and these teams will run smoothly with a Manager, a coach and team parent.   Please contact me and let me know if you can help volunteer :   It is an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone involved.

The rest of the scheduled games are all on Saturdays at Creekside Park from 8:00am to 9:00am.
