With all makeup games concluded Tuesday night, the regular season is now complete. All standings, stat leaders and team stats are now final (playoff games won’t count in the stats). Congratulations to the Bronco division’s Yale Bulldogs who finally clinched 1st place Tuesday night and helped finalize the Bronco playoffs seedings. The Shetland divisions seedings are now also complete after Tuesday. Pinto and Mustang were finalized after this past Saturday.
Brackets and game schedules are listed under each divisions’ playoff page and on our Google calendar. The team that is the higher seed or finished the regular season with the better record is always the home team throughout every playoff round. All regular season rules still apply however there are no time limits. With the exception of the 10-run mercy rule, every playoff game must go the full length (5 innings in Shetland, 6 innings in Pinto and Mustang, 7 innings in Bronco).
Playoff start this Thursday with Shetland and Pinto games, while most everyone else starts on Saturday, May 9th. Semi-final games will be the following week and concluding with championship games Saturday, May 16. There are NO closing ceremonies this year due to popular demand. There will be small ceremonies after each championship game when the 1st and 2nd place teams will be given their trophies. Foal and Shetland division teams will get their participation trophies from their team manager or team parent.
We’ll be announcing all-star participants during the playoff games and eventually on this website. Also, the board elections are this Saturday. More details about the process will follow. If you have not signed up to run for a board position and you still want to, email league president Rocky here: firstname.lastname@example.org
