Walnut Pony, Bronco and Mustang All-Stars Begin this Week

Walnut Pony, Bronco and Mustang All-Stars Begin this Week

With the two Region tournaments that Walnut hosts, Mustang and Bronco, beginning this Thursday, our 10U and 12U teams will play their first sanctioned games. Also starting this week, today, as a matter of fact, will be the Pony 14U All-Star team. Our 14U team is made up of both Walnut and Charter Oak PONY players and will be managed by Bernard Zavala. Their first game is at the Pony Section 1 tournament against the host West Covina Red team at 5pm.

The Shetland A Team will play in the Shetland Region championship game today against Whittier Navy at 4pm and if they win that, there will be another game immediately afterwards. They will need to win both to take the championship and bypass the Super Region and go straight to the West Zone World Series.

The Mustang 10U team is managed by John Zheng and they will host West Covina Blue on Thursday at 7:30pm. The tournament is at Creekside Park and will run from Thursday, July 11 thru Tuesday, July 16. That also applies to the Bronco Region Tournament which will also be at Creekside during that same time period. The Bronco 12U team is managed by Pete Elias and they host Charter Oak Silver, also on Thursday at 7:30pm.

All of the games will be “scorecast” with our Iscore system that we use during the spring season, including the new scoreboard feature that can be viewed from the home page slider or either of the Mustang or Bronco pages. In addition, the Bronco games will be streamed live from the Webcast page.
